Just bought a DROID Bionic! Teach me the ways...

Like the title says, I finally upgraded to a real phone. Previously had a Samsung Intensity which is equivalent to a flip phone but with a qwerty keyboard and no internet access.

I do still have a Blackberry which is a work phone, but don't plan on carrying it around anymore after work hours like I previously had since I now how internet on my personal phone.

So....school me on this thing.

Google Voice
You can now video conference with Google Talk.
With 4G you can be on a call and do data.

I noticed on my data plan I have a 2gig allotment on data usage. If apps are running in the background, will this be a part of that data usage?

Only if they are downloading data

Go SMS for texting. I had handcent on 2 phones and they both had problems. Like sending texts to the wrong contact.

verizon wifi auto..you can set places on your phone to remember, it will then auto turn on your wifi so you can link up that way so it doesnt count against your data usage....unless you keep your wifi on 24/7
