I just took the car out for a short drive to the credit union. On the way home on the e-way a SUV full of teenagers was beside me. We were going about 70mph. They kept looking at me as the car is pretty loud so I dropped the car into 4th gear (quickly mind you) and just hammered it. It took off like a cheetah after a wild boar.
That's the 1st time I've even downshifted at such a high speed as quickly as I do a upward shift from say 1-2.
All I can say is....holy shit
That 9" engaged and just took the beating like a red headed step-child.

Scrubbed transmission parts this morning and then changed out the media in the blast cabinet to glass beads. Already have the case and rear plate blasted and they look 200% better then when I started.
