I know which ones dont even with a stock converter!
hahaha I was doing some reading and I have seen where most guys say you shouldnt do a huge burn out with them. I had 555s on my 04 GTO and I just would spin to clean them off and cut a 1.905 with a 6-speed stock suspension.
Ok, we have the same car but you have REAL mods. My mods dont do shit for power and my car is hitting 13.0XX at just under 107 so I think if you hool half way you will be in the mid 12s if the DA isnt killing you.Remember, converters do eat some MPH on the top end.
You are probably right, I am thinking best case.

You have a 11 second car with the mods you have mentioned. But you have two issues. The nitto's will not handle the power you have. You will need ET Streets or a slick to get your best times. That is the first issue. I would start saving for a 12 bolt or 9" now if you have not already. The stock 10 bolt will not last long behind the power you could put out. Even running just nitto's you are taking a big chance. My guess on time mid to low 12's.

I agree that is only a 12 second car as is, But for me most of that is based on the tire he is using. I am thinking he has headers not mentioned in the mod list. I see the cut out mentioned with headers ??
So with that he is close to my setup. 231/237 TSP,LS6 intake,Pacesetter Headers, true duals dumped at the axel,4000 TCI,3.73's. I was into the high 11's with ET Streets. I got in the Mid 11's with Hoosier Race Slicks. And it was done on a 10 bolt before it went.Last edited by Z28Thunder; 10-06-2011 at 06:46 PM.

And now I'm on your side
I didn't make the observation of having a cut out probably means he has headers. Since he didn't have headers (in my mind), it also meant to me that he probably didn't have a cam upgrade(even though it's right there in front of me)........so, I'm going to revise again. 12.38
Thanks ZThunder!

As far as hp goes when I did the cam swap I had it dyno'd after the tune. I had a stock ls1 intake and tb and made 371. With the new fast and a new tune my tuner says I should be damn close to 400...just havent had time on a dyno yet.
And to edit my original post **I have pacesetter headers and a cutout**

decent 60' will put you in the 11's IMO......I'm gonna say 11.80's. That car definitely has 11's in it with traction. More stall, more cam, and more intake/tb than I got and my car went 11.80's on high 1.60's 60'.

Well to be fair here...he asked what his "current set-up" will run. Tires, bigger stall, bigger cam, etc is just all speculation because he doesn't have any of that.
I also don't see relocation brackets for the LCA's as a mod.
He is going to have major traction issues and a weak 60' time.
My time above standsI might be on the high side a little though.
