Started removing the 5 year old vinyl that is literally BAKED into the car..

Started searching for a new Cowl Debris Screen. Doing 60 on 23N and suddenly I hear what I can only describe as a farting noise. Open the window to check my seals and nothing.. until I got home and saw that the screen had broken at least 2 tabs due to age and was flapping around in the wind and smacking the windshield.

...and I have a show to go to on Monday. FML.

Installed my shift boot ring. Looks 100% better then before. Also got an email that my stuff is en route :

Fixed an exhaust rattle. It was a loose O2 sensor....weird.

Went on a job interview about 70 miles north to Fremont.
Nice drive, just a little traffic but, I managed a few miles in 6th gear ..hehehehe
Anyway, she looked great since the clay bar routine and polish job; the SLP loudmouth II exhaust system just making a low dull roar at 2200 rpm.
I had cars constantly driving up to me, and taking a look and speeding off.
I even had an orange Lambo come up, take a look, then blip his throttle and speed off.
So, I made a decision at that moment.
I am going to build a CA. smog legal LS motor for this girl.
Gonna take my time and build it from the ground up.
It will be a total engine swap.
What I want is somewhere between 400 and 427 inches square if possible.
No blower, (too much coin) or turbo (too much coin).
I expect it to pump out around 550 to 600 HP on pump gas and be streetable.
Waddya think?

An LS7 is 427 cid and makes 505 horsepower through manifolds and stock cats. That would be the easiest way to be "emission legal." But in California it'll be tough to do much more then that.

Pacesetter LT, going into a TS&P ORY that has been tweaked, cut, bend to get it up closer then into a Magnaflow muffler. I know it's not pretty but it works

The F ing thing is a leaker.
I coated it but, no luck.
Gotta fill it up every week.
Need to find some 2000 yr WS6 wheels.
