Light Pewter Metallic- 2001 Camaro SS
To sell the V or not.
I have a 2004 CTS-V with 53,000 miles on it. I have had it listed for sale and now have someone very interested. They are talking to their bank tomorrow about a loan. I would be ok with selling it if I had a good/fun car to replace it with. I have been looking at the Infiniti M45 Sport but can't find something with the right one. Any other cars I should consider? Looking to spend in the 21-22k range and this is a DD.

Yea I looked into the IS350 but they seem to be a little out of my price range. I really want the nav and obviously keep the mileage down. I want to have something that is sporty/powerful but feels a little more luxurious. Don't get me wrong the V is nice and has a great feel but I test drove an M45 just to see how the power was and that car is solid. It rode amazingly and has some cool technology features.

We actually have an M45 in our body shop right now. It looks like a nice car, but doesn't get me excited like a CTS-V would. Then again, I haven't driven one either. I think you should keep the CTS-V. But it sounds like you're tired of the V already...so I don't know what to tell you.

If i was buying an m45 it could only be the sport. I mean I wouldn't be upset if I stuck with the V by any stretch of the means. The only reason I have been thinking about it is because I can possibly sell it for what I paid for it after a year of driving. I have even considered selling the V to buy a different one in the stealth gray or infared.

Maybe get a G8? They have a G8 GT here for $22k with 55k miles (kinda high miles), has navigation and is pretty loaded too.... just don't come get this one cause I wanna get it soon

Haha. I wasn't sure if they had Nav or not. I have to really think about this.

A 2WD TBSS would possibly net you the same mileage, maybe better depending on how you drive.... My 06 AWD got roughly 14-15 city, and about 19 highway....

I am just not a fan of those cars. I really really want a V8 or powerful V6 and nav.

Pewter- 2001 Camaro SS hard top
Don't know what the prices are like but I've always liked S4's, or maybe a '03-'05 clk55 amg. I'm sure the price of parts would be murder though

Yea the German stuff really scares me from that aspect. At this point I'm looking at other Vs with lower miles and different color. Sounds crazy I know. I looked at the M35/M45 Sport, Acura TL-S, TBSS, G8 GT, S4, 335i, M3, ect. They either don't excite me that much or are just out of my price range for what I want. I had someone offer me a 35th LE Camaro SS with 41k miles but I already have a nice SS that's the way I want it so that doesn't make any sense either.

Does anyone think I would regret selling/trading the V for a Trailblazer SS?
