CETA Mod help
I'm going to do the ceta mod tomorrow because I'm off work and was wondering if anyone had a picture of a red T/A with any color mod besides black? Also what kind of paint is recommended and what grit sand paper do you use? Thanks for any help and pics. I'll post pics as soon as it's finished as well.

I won't bother posting a picture because mine is silver with the black ceta mod. I used 600 grit to rough up the surface a bit then washed it with warm soapy water, let thoroughly dry, then I used duplicolor adhesive promotor let it dry till it's tacky but still wet then used gray dupli color primer and flat black paint. I used 1000 grit to take care of any runs and sprayed as many layers needed. I did not use a clear to keep the flat black look. Most will say overkill but removing the bumper saved me from any over spray and kept the paint even.

Black- 00 camaro ss M6 #6695
Black should be the only color on CETA mode sprcially on a red car.
Flat blk should look good.
Any other color will look out of place.

The CETA mod looks so damn good. Almost makes me wish our car wasn't black... almost.
Nice work!

Yeah once its driveable again. I dropped a driveshaft at 130 on the freeway about 2 months ago and blew the transmission apart so its been sitting since then. Got the new tranny and driveshaft in the other day but now I still need a plug, a hose, and something else but I forgot what it was. Should be running in the next few days I hope
