Car has been back on the road about 3 weeks now, give or take. It sounds SICK. The bypass valve is ridiculously loud though. My little brother heard it from about 4 blocks away when I came to pick him up a few weeks ago.
Sadly, nobody wants to even rev at me anymore.Boost gets you laid, unless your name is Jon.

Hrm....my AC works almost as good as my 4L60-E! Hahahahhahhahah
Quick questionf or you. I know that the early 4L60E transmissions found in the V6 cars have a different bell housing than the detachable LS1 cars (as opposed to a 1 piece unit) but did they still use that one piece design with the V6s found from 98-up or do they get a detachable bell housing? Or am I way off base with this one? Its late remember and I have been reading Great Expectations along with spending a long time trying to download porn. Connection isnt well tonight.
For some reason I am having a VERY HARD time feeling sorry for you and your loud car....lol

I don't think I could be putting the power down to the ground any more effectively. My car literally dead hooks shifting into 2nd and 3rd at WOT. I don't even get a bark from the tires.
There is a short video of it in my thread. It is of when the car first got running again with the SC installed, prior to the injectors and tune being made. That video gives the car absolutely no justice though.

BTW - just turned 22,000 miles on the garage queen the other day. Not so much a garage queen anymore. I've put 16K miles on it over the last couple years

Phantom Black Metallic- 2004 GTO M6
There are times when all us techs will sit in the air conditioned office to cool off. We had a two hour dead spot today so while everyone was in the office, I stayed in the shop messing with a brake caliper from an old Lexus RX300. Bleeder screw snapped so I tried drilling the rest out as suggested by one of the writers. Everyone looked at me like I was insane being in the shop.
extreme dimensions, driveshaft shop, harrop, hid(35watt/6k) lows, hurst, k&n, led fogs, maverick man, mishimoto, nitto, revshift, slp, stern st-1, smoked sidemarkers, whiteline poly radius rod bushings

Stock rims. Nitto 555R DR's. 275 50R17's.
I have a bit of money in the suspension which is a big part of why I'm hooking as hard as I am.

If I stomp on it from a 3K RPM in 1st it just goes. I hate doing it in 1st though. The damn tach hits redline almost instantly it seems
You definitely have to be quick on the shifts.
