New... but not really
I've actually been a member for a couple years, I've just never posted at all, I just browse. I used to be on Ls1tech all the time too, so I'm sure some of you will know of me from there.
Got a 98 Trans Am a4, nothin' special, but it gets me around!
A few pics of the bird below, I'm a bit into automotive photography, if you're local and want to shoot, hit me up!!

Those pictures are amazing! Nice car too! Can you take those moving shots with a regular camera, or do you need something special?

Thank you sir!
done! just gotta get the votes now!
You dont really need a special camera, as long as the cameras setting will allow for you to manually set the exposure and all.
Thanks

Awesome
High School Photography, although I took 3 years of it, from beginning black and white to advanced color, isn't much help to me today
Recently purchased a D5000. Not the D90 I've wanted for the last few years, but, the D5000 was a financial compromise

What camera and lenses are you using? I'm an amateur when it comes to photography, but I think I have a worthy camera; Minolta Maxxum 7D DSLR with a handful of lenses.
Great shots and great looking car you have there.

Nice purchase! Its a very good camera. I was actually going to go for the D5000 myself, but ended up waiting a bit and got the D90, mainly because it allows for more lens options since it has the internal motor.
Thanks! and that certain is a nice camera!! I'm just an amateur too, just trying to learn the craft a bit more each day. I shoot with a D90, along with a sigma 50 1.4 and 10-20mm, and nikon 80-200 2.8, 35 1.8, and 300 f/4, although for automotive stuff i only usually use the 10-20, 50, and 80-200. And as mentioned, I do usually add the camera info to my shots on flickr, and the exif info is attached still.
Thanks!
Gracias!JLaruePhotography.com

Thanks for the information. I used to be a little more into it than I am now. Life got busy. I do plan on picking up the hobby again though. I haven't even scratched the surface yet of what the camera is capable of.

yeah i know thew feeling, these two hobbies are certainly not cheap! The only reason i was really able to get everything that i did was that I sold the camaro i had, and put a lot of that money directly into the camera and lenses.
