Probably light enough to do that. The whole package is 5.7lbs. The laptop without the battery is only 3lbs.

Build a laptop? I always build my own desktops.

Specwise, yes, you can find cheaper computers. But you won't find a finer built laptop than a Lenovo. It weighs in at 4lbs with a 9cell battery which can last 10hours with 70% brightness and wifi on browsing websites. The screen itself uses an IPS display(think of an iphone/itouch/ipad) which is bright and sharp. The keyboard is not completely flat, but has a concave shape to all the keys reminiscent of an actual desktop keyboard. The high end thinkpad line is also known for being very durable and can take abuse.

I've found decent laptops for $300 or less through Dell...using a coupon.

We use nothing but Dell's here at work. Never had an issue with any of them in the last 11 years I've worked here.

I used to have a Dell laptop... worked on for a while but it was too heavy so I moved to an aluminum bodied mac. Much better... just wish it ha a better video car for WoW. lol

i play world of warcraft on mine... so i like to make sure shit looks pretty at full setting and doesn't lag on me...

Me too...but since mobs only appear when I am close to them I am getting quite quick at full defense mode LOL As for lagging...oh lord... was tanking a cata boss the other day and was lagging so bad I kept passing him and taking way too long to be able to turn my poor paladin around. I need visual speed so I can smack them around properly LOL Waka-Waka-Waka!!!!!!!!
