A Boss 302 is not the same as a regular GT.

Idk if you were refering to me but I'm aware of that. the Boss's extra 32 hp and suspension make for a couple tenths off the 60 time and ditto for the 1/4 mile. Not .7. Again, on the tires it came with. If it had slicks or DR's and the rear could handle it, then idk. But, rubber isn't cheap, and is by no means stock imo.

I know what a New Boss IS. We beat on a 200 mile brand new 100% showroom stock grabber yellow car.

I was posting REAL track numbers to compair to. If we had a regular GT then I would have posted those numbers instead.

It is one of the newer body styles. Not really up to par as far as distinguishing them apart. I haven't taken the T/A out since my last post, but I will be looking for this Mustang when I'm out again. BTY Trans Am only has full exhaust and free mods. A4.

The Boss is brand new this year. Even if they stripped the stickers off the easy way to tell is they have a chin spoiler that you can't miss.

Also, you guys are ignorant about the new 5.0s. Those things would destroy even a bolt-on F-body. They're the same weight and the 5.0 is pushing between 412 and 444 crank hp (depending on premium or base model).

ya, the only 2011+ mustangs that I know of that carry the 5.0 badge and are over the factory GT 412 HP are the dealer installed Roush supercharged mustangs, they are basically roush stage 3 mustangs without all the badging and plastic body parts, there is a local ford dealership her in central FL that is installing the kits and selling them as Roush supercharged 5.0 mustangs not Roush Stage 3 mustangs. They badge them up a little but they don't stand out nearly as mush as a stage 3 and still have the 540hp supercharged 5.0. I'll see if I can snap a couple pix next time I'm out that way. But they could be real sleepers if you don't know what they are.

Yes, cause things can't be misread while driving...a Cobra badge is easier to identify than a number that could be misread.

Either way, the 2011 GT500's run what in stock form? 12.4? That shouldn't present a problem for your 427 ls1camino.

I personally can't wait to meet one on the streets now

Where did I say I was afraid of one? I put three cars on a 2011 5.0 when I was running my H/C/I LS1 (445rwhp/395rwtq).

It's fun being the big fish, amirite?

I guess I was thinking 2011 and not the new 2012 one when you stated this.

I don't know quite yet if I'm the big fish yet in my area...but hopefully I'll find out before the end of the year

I'm finding most people now that have GTO's and Camaro's are not even wanting to mess with me with how loud my car is and the whine coming from the bypass valve
