Navy Blue Metallic- 2000 T/A Firehawk M6
Chevy learns styling from Nissan??
Not that I'm complaining. Take a look at the below. We'll call this Godzilla jr.
Now honestly. Am I the only one that sees the R34 GT-R in this car? The upper half of the front end. the grille surround and headlights. looks like a shorter version of the front end of the 97-02 GT-R R34. Someone needs to paint one of these bayside blue fit it with AWD and drop a monster motor in it. I get the feeling, if there is an SS version of this, that it will be pretty popular among the ricer crowd for this resemblence.
IMO. Not a bad thing. The R34 is one of my all time favorite cars. I think it looks awesome and I WISH they were legal to have here in this country.
Am i alone here? does anyone else see it?
Looking again... I actually think the Sonic takes the general idea of that front end and refines it... it's just a little more muscular looking which is weird to say about an econobox. but the resemblance certainly is there.

Light Pewter Metallic- y2k 8-cylinder catfish
I see little to no resemblance between those two cars. The Camaro resembles a Catfish/Concorde/Intrepid more.

i'm speaking strictly about the fascia. the very very front. I KNOW the cars as a whole look nothing alike. but the headlight grille appearance seems so familiar to me.

Navy Blue Metallic- '00 Formy A4
If Chevy was going to copy a design (or Deawoo, who prob makes this car), why would they copy some obscure, ugly, Japanese market car?
It' a big reach. Too many cars have that look now, you can't say it came from that R134A or whatever the hell it is.
And yeah, every new Mitsu has that same look, as does the new Ford Focus.
It's kind of a generic look....everyone is now going for that import tuner, animae character look.

Why not, the rear of a g6 looks like the rear of a solara. Siggy, according to my son the front of my car (Intrepid) looks like toothless from how to train your dragon
