First time at the track ever
Hey guys, can you tell me if this is a good ET for my last and best run?
I beat an 04 mustang cobra with 420 hp at the wheels because of my reaction time in this run.

re:last run
most definetly, a very good run, I will be taking my 2002 out to the track
in june, I am running mine for the fist time, I gotta be honest I let my
motor break-in sloooow. I have only 4800 miles,k-n SLP 85mm mass air flow
sensor,SLP HIGH DOME COVER,and SLP smooth bellows.
what launch speed, and what was your shift style, 6spd. on mine.

I was always lighting the rears up a little bit on launch, i really don't know what i was launching at, i think a little less than 2 grand. I was shifting as hard as i could without powershifting, chirped in every gear, including 4th just a tiny bit. My friends at school were amazed I drove the car this good, as well as my shop teacher. I killed everyone from the school and the closest guy was in an STi 2005 running 13.9. I am 18 and a senior, my car also has low miles, 6,700.

How the hell did you chirp 4th? I've only caught 3rd one time since I've had my car and I've had it for 2yrs.

I've got a 6" I drove my friends with the 5.0, it was just a little short for me.

it was an ok run.
not trying to cause a riot, but the r/t was less than spectacular (which is what others are saying), the 60' was a bit on the high side.
those two things are the race. anyway though not a bad first time at the track. get some sticky tires and run that thing into the low 13s, may even see a 12!

Stock 04 cobras see 12.7-12.9 rather easy.... and that is with around 375 at the wheels...

with reaction time having nothing to do with et, it's decent withstanding the 60ft time. work on that and you'll see a 12 soon. also, post in et listing so i can add you to the list.

I can barely chirp 3rd with the 4.10 in my car. Then again in the rain I can spin in 4th and almost kill myself in the process.
Nice times btw.

I think the 13.19 for 1/4 is a good score, for the mods you have you should be at
13.2-13.4 range.. get new gears, will loose power just a bit but gain acceleration.
you should net at least .1 gain at track if you do that...
