Yeah there are good prices here. We bought our house here in dfw in '09. It was built in '06 and we are the only people to live there. 2 story, 2600sqft, granite counter tops etc... 150k

Damn I thought houses here in fl were getting cheap. The houses i'm looking at here in the under 130k category don't even compare to that house. Very nice house, I hope to be in my own home in the next few months.

Dont have leather. Also, people are leaving Texas in droves, and moving to Colorado. Funny how that happens. About the only thing you have going for you is nicer winter weather.

i got 1200 sq feet of pure american 1950s pier and beam for 92K, lol

my garage is detached with lowers my sq footage quite a bit, with it in somewhere about 1500 or 1600

My 3,631 doesn't include the garage either...

It's really WAY more space than I need or want but the garage is 3-bays wide with the third bay being double deep.

EDIT: To those of you not familiar with Houston, this is out in the 'burbs. I made an offer of $260 on a house in the city last year that was refused but it had an insulated, heated, cooled, 6-car garage that was already wired for a two post lift.

I should have just gotten the bigger mortgage...
