It's more like butcher block with a ceramic center.

I dropped my car off this morning, but I don't think they're going to get to it until tomorrow.

Yeah, it should be a lot more fun to drive. Can't wait, especially because as I mentioned, it has the 2:73's.

A few years back I had a 99 M6 with 4:10's. My days of driving stick are pretty much over....There's just way to much traffic here in Chicago! A decent set of gears with a nice stall and you're all set!

I went from 2.73s as well! lol It is quite a difference and honestly only a loss of about 3 mpgs for me and I drive 70 mph quite a lot on the highway.

Did FROST reprogram your PCM? I am hoping to hit the track this weekend to see how much faster the car is in the 1/4 mile. 13.5@104 prior, hope to do a little better now.

No on the PCM. I'm sure the speedo is going to be off by a bit........BTW 13.5 at 104 is a very respectable number!

Ok, good deal not having a worry about mpgs....lol

The other thing is that you can have some shift issues if you dont adjust your PCM. Many people told me when I did my swap that without it the tranny may not shift at the right speed/rpm and you can have more issues than just a speedo not being calibrated correctly.

Have FROST get you a new PCM out (like $275 shipped to your door) with your mods and calibration for your gears, or you can ship yours to him and he can do it for you on your original one. I have both in case I ever HAVE to go back to 2.73 gears. He does little things to help the car as well as gets rid of tq management and can firm up the shift points and make the car feel much better.

13.5@104 is ok but I was getting smoked by another member on here so the mods were a must! lol He is still faster though.....

When I get my car back I plan on taking it to Speed Inc, a well known shop local to my area. They have a "Basic Tune" for $150.00 which recalibrates the shift points......

Shopping for a low-low mileage Hummer. We'll see tho still shopping haha. Wife would rather I not take on another project. A project to be honest I don't know would ever be finished. I just don't have the time required..

i always like the hummers i love the way they look, in my area some guys has an h2 with 30s on it, that thing looks sick.. but i rather have on with
off road tires, lift kit and lamps on the roof.. they look sick like that..

im not a fan of toyota.. but that one looks ok
if its not a hummer its the 2011 jeep wrangler 4 doors lifted..

Nah, I was getting things together for the Camaro project..
But I also have a Gen-I Z34 TT project unfinished too..

I have a few cars and prolly enough parts to build ten cars.. lmao
