not a bad price for a 6 speed. i'm sure you could find better. but if it's close go for it. talk them down a bit.

I didn't get a chance to go see it today but i will try on Monday. The only thing I noticed that I didn't really like was it has had 4 owners. Was trying to find 1 and 2 owner cars only. I may go see it tomorrow while the place is closed so I can look it over first before driving it.

Ya, that wouldn't be a bad idea. I don't think the number of owners should scare you too much. Just as long as you look over the car well, have it checked out, and see how it feels whenever you test drive it.

1993 Mustang Gt(SOLD!)- Searching for LS1 TransAm
I have actually seen that car in person before.
It has been for sale for a couple of months as far as I know.
Looked pretty clean for the price. I liked it.

Don's forget a carfax and whatever else you gotta do. Years ago I found a nice bird, and after checking out the info I found I would have been the 13th owner and it had a salvage title.

One thing that I will add my two cents on. It has an Aftermarket radio head unit in it. I wonder if the steering wheel controlls are working, and what happened to the original head unit? I just twitchy when I see things like that.

Went and drove the car today. It ran well and everything worked. It had a few rough spots on the front bumper but i expected that. Both doors had the famous cracks inside them but the dash was perfect. The ac blew cold and there were no leaks anywhere on the car that i saw. Looked around under the car and didnt notice any rust. Looked completely stock under the hood and the exhaust was flowmaster. My only concern with the car was the "service engine soon" light on. I dont know if that has something to do with the exhaust or what. One of the rims had a little curb rash on it but not a big deal. Autocheck shows a clear title with 4 owners. It failed emissions testing once. Im ready to make this guy an offer but the engine light has me concerned.

Seems like a good deal. Can you test drive it again, and have the SES light checked at AutoZone or someplace like that? Or have them check it and tell you the code. Could be something simple and free like a loose fitting gas cap, or it could be expensive (like multiple O2 sensors) and that would give you room to negotiate. The flowmaster exhaust shouldn't turn on the light.
There was no differential noise when you test drove it? And I'm not a fan of the aftermarket radio. I love my steering wheel controls, and that I don't have to scroll thru menus to adjust the EQ.

Not sure about the differential noise. Not real sure what I'm listening for. It was hard to hear much in the rear because of the exhaust. I do know that rear ends are a concern on these cars

Well, you'd know if it had differential noise. It would be a loud whine/noise from the back. Unless the exhaust is that loud.

No I didn't hear a whine noise but I'll drive it at least one more time before I take it if I do. Got the car hooked up and it came back as code P0430 in bank 1 and 2.
