01 ss value
Hey guys just started a new job and am going to have to move not sure if i am gonna be able to afford to keep my car. So thinking about selling it. The car is about as good as they come for being ten years old. 01 ss m6 only mods are full slp exhaust headers back and the slp cold air kit. Never been tuned sitting on american racing torque thrust wheels and 275-40-17 potenzas brand new less than 2000 miles. the car is black with black leather and only 66,000 miles. what do you think its worth to sell retail?

12k is not out of the question but its a tough market right now. If you HAVE to sell it you may have to drop the price. Something is work whatever someone else is willing to pay for it.
The thing to consider is that 12k is starting to get in to used C5 category (though high miles) and most people when buying sports/muscle/GT look to get the most car for the money. Its not a bad starting point but you may have to sit on it a while to get that much out of it.

Good thing I heard today on the CBS Morning News is that used car values are now higher because of the demand for used cars. Something about people are keeping their cars longer and dealerships are "running low" on them or just dont have as many in stock, for lack of better words. Not sure how that pans out for a private seller but it sure couldn't hurt.

I think you can. I paid 12,500 for a 2000 SS with 42,000 miles. It was an SLP car.

Last September. They might be. I guess some just came with more SLP options than others?
