No court today. They have a murder trial in progress that started with jury selection Monday afternoon.

Using my knowledge of the legal system bestowed upon me by Hollywood,I predict that the trial will be over in 1 week with the real murderer confessing on the witness stand, while the accused is set free to his loving wife and children.

Likely to wrap up tomorrow. Interesting case really... a couple of woodchucks in a house. The decedant started a fight with the defendant and was kicking the hell out of him. Defendant pulled a knife and poked the decedant 5 times, in addition to some defensive wounds on his hands. Two witnesses -- one too drunk to remember much of anything and the other a girlfriend of the decedant. Other than the escalation of force by the defendant there is a good chance he will not get tagged with murder one. Could end up with a murder three, voluntary or involuntary manslaughter and definitely an aggravated assault. We'll see...

I can't wait until 4pm comes, the most boring day at the office ever. I've been here since 9am and the only work related task I've done is finding and calling a lawyer which took all of 10minutes.
