I agree, especially since mine will be all "muscle". A 9" rearend, a stroker motor, 17" wheels, 3" cowl hood. Completely and entirely not what Ford intended back in 1965. I want mine to look and sound mean and musclely.

Buddy of mine had a 66. Helped him do the just about the same thing to it. Turned out to be a pretty wicked car.

A friend of mine has a 85 Mustang that runs 9's. I don't consider that anything but a drag car (tubbed, roll cage and he drives it on the street).

I put the motor in my car yesterday, had to wait on the jim pole truck all day yesterday. Did you not get the picture I sent?

I have til June 3 to get this done and 4 days in Las Cruces this month and 1 week in North Carolina next month is slowing me down.

Did a wash on the bird yesterday, and all I did was upset myself. I gotta put aside a day to do a full detailing with claybar, polish, wax, etc. It's in bad condition. This winter really did a job on it.

Second place! Thats awesome. I couldn't believe that rodeo that first time I seen it at the muffler shop. Vibrated me from the inside out.
