What did you do with your Trans Am today?

I know how ya feel. But lately I get better mph with it closed so I'm cruising a lot more with it closed.

Fixed the passenger seat belt guide. Installed the new DRL housings and sockets. greased my roto joints.

The DRL housings were easy but the cheap soft ass screws used by GM snapped off on the inner hole... both housings!!!! so i mounted them with just the one for now. soft metal soft plastic tight fit.... didn't feel like fiddling with anything in the dark but i think they might shake a bit without the two holding them in place. Can't believe it happened on both of em.... ugh.

Pulled the fuses for my headlights. I could have gone for the wink look but that's just weird. I'll leave em like that till i get a chance to pull the motors and install the aluminum gears I have sitting at home.

First oil change since the rebuild, and adjusted the exhaust that was hanging low. Going for an alignment and emissions next week

Man ,,, that sounds wicked !!! What mods and exhaust do you have? I'm itchin' to get the mods going on mine - as of now, it's stock '02 ram air WS6 - 6-speed.

As for today,, I have to get up under it and find that blasted front-end sqeak!

Put Trans Am decals on my FRC's. I didn't do the best job filling in and painting them so these decals will help distract from that fact. Hopefully...

I've got an oil change coming up. I'm gonna pull the DMH cutout off at the same time and see if I can fix the rattling soming from it.

Totally agree. Check out the mod to hide the cruise control module -- also does wonders.

Pulled off the valve covers, rocker arms, fuel rails, and intake manifold...heads are tomorrow...praying for no internal carnage.

Hopefully someone can find it. I used a write up to do mine but I'm out of town so won't have good access until Saturday. It's easy to do and cleans up your engine bay.
