I watched the movie splice not too long ago and I know that they have created new creatures before like the cabbit (cat/rabbit combination) and the teddy bear cat (skunk/cat mix). But today I saw an article about the montauk monster which washed up on the shore. If you haven't heard about it, it looks like this:

There are a few variations of it and it washed up near plum island which is a diseased animal facility which was once owned by the government but is being sold out to a private company. Also they found a preserved wooly mammoth and they were talking about splicing the dna into an elephant egg to produce another one. I'm sure there are more events like this going on and I just wanted to know what you guys thought about it or if you knew of any more similar creatures.
Anyway, I'm not big on conspiracy theories and all that but I do like to know about anything that's a reality.

This doesn't surprise me, my younger brother just got done with genetics class and that stuff is insane how complicated it is. I think he told me one time that the teacher said we know more about space than we do about genetics!!

its out there and will happen more and more.
