Yeah, there are some quick imports. I went to the local strip a few months back and happened upon a Neon club thrashing their rides. Most didn't break 14s but there were a few running 13s and a couple in the twelves. They have import night every now and then. Most are running 15s. Contrary to popular ricer doctrine, stickers, a park bench wing and carbon fiber whatever don't make it any faster. As for Evo's and STI's, what sedan does GM, ford, or Chrysler build that can compare with the economy and performance of SUB or the Mitsu? With the exception of the GTO and mustang, american car makers have NOTHING! And even then, try to haul a couple of kids in a stang or a goat. Until the US automakers get off their dependance on SUV's, the american GT is dead. On another note, one of my most favorite saying is: "Racing a Honda is like being in the Special Olympics. Even if you win, your still retarded".

Don't count out the 300C, Magnum and Charger SRT-8s . Those are pretty fast domestic sedans/ wagons. Still wont keep up in the twisties though.

Although the domestic market doesn't have a great 4 door supercar like the STI's and Evo's chevy is trying with the Cobalt SS... I think that car is pretty cool for just a 4 banger with a supercharger... And the SRT-4's are badass 2... soo the domestic market is trying as i see it.. Don't know how much the Cobalt SS runs for but the SRT-4 is a pretty bad ass bang for your buck car! if you all know what i mean...

It is the drivers that I can't stand nearly all of the time.

I had a 1997 Civic that was 100% street legal and ran 10.86 on slicks. IT cost me A LOT of money to make that happen, but it is not that hard. On the freeway it was a monster. It was much faster then my GTO.

I'm a Porsche enthusiast myself, and I'd like to see you're 87' 930. Any pics?

Edit: I hope you didn't mean the 944 (and got the two confused), which is a little more accessible.... as then I'd have to agree with you.Last edited by Street Lethal; 05-06-2006 at 03:30 AM.
