Red- 2002 Camaro SS 35th LE
35th LE Center Caps or LE Wheel Set
Found some amazing re-manufactured 35th SS LE wheels, but the center cap is aluminum brushed with a silver bowtie. Looking for the aluminum brushed ones with the red bowtie. If anyone has seen these online on a certain site I've missed, please direct me to it!
GM part #9594408
Found tons of the silver finished ones, but not the aluminum brushed ones.
If all else fails, I'm looking for the original LE wheels, with minor wear if possible. These are hard to come by.2002 Camaro SS 35th Anniversary Edition

Yeah, I bid on those. $1200 buyout on used wheels not in mint condition. Phew..... expensive... Of course they aren't sold anymore so I guess it's a matter of, "How bad do you want them?"

Exactly. Sometimes I think it would be easier to find an all original '70 HemiCuda than it is to find some certain parts for our cars. Especially mint condition stock wheels

Yeah, they do. Only problem is the center cap is a silver bowtie. Seems like a minor thing. I guess the worst case scenario in not finding the aluminum brushed center caps.... painting the bowtie.

That is probably why they are only $118. I looked up the rims from my 00 SS and my 01 WS6 and they are higher than the 02 35th LE. How high are you willing to go for the ones on Ebay?

Probably 800, tops. Anything more than that for less than mint is quite a bit for some wheels. Might take my chances and wait to see if another set come up. I'm asking that site if the bowtie on those is actually silver instead of red, unless the picture is wrong just to clarify.

I think thats the only set I have ever seen on ebay. They are only getting harder to find. I dont see how anyone with an 02 35th LE car could even want aftermarket wheels on it...unless, of course it was a totaled ride.

Red- 2002 Camaro SS 35th LE
Yeah, the previous owner did some really stupid things to my car. Had very low mileage. He had dragonflame seat covers over the anniversary one with stupid floormats to match them... threw both in the trashcan. He swapped out the 35th LE wheels for some Z06 replica wheels and my backleft wheel has some of the chrome peeled off of it. He changed the stock grille to a billet insert, which isn't a huge deal since I want the painted SS one with the decals that I'll have to get painted.
Getting rid of the wheels though had to be the dumbest thing he did along with getting rid of the OEM CME SLP exhaust.

Red- 2002 Camaro SS 35th LE
Most of it. I got the 35th LE floormats from SLP that orginally came with the package. He threw those out as well. The exhaust I'm going to just leave custom since that is what I like to change the most, along with the air intake. I could easily get the stock grille that came with the car for about 30 bucks from GMpartsdirect. With the wheels and the grille, everything would look stock except for the SLP CAI, hookers, and the LM catback.

Well you certainly have a nice ride. They are by far my favorite Camaro..I have browsed ebay and various websites numerous times looking at those 02 35th LE's. Maybe one day when I get a bigger garage. Haha. My two Ls1's are about all I can handle right now!

Red- 2002 Camaro SS 35th LE
Thanks! Yeah, I'm having a great time with it. I had a choice between picking this one up in Houston, or driving to Dallas for an automatic
This one was a trade-in for a spoiled kid who wanted a lifted truck instead of a brand new Camaro SS 35th LE for his birthday with every possible option and a sticker price of 38k. I'd smack that kid in the face if I could. The dad drove it casually for 35k miles, but I don't know how likely that is with headers on it and exhaust. Then again, I'd have done the same thing for casual driving too! I may visit the track someday just for fun and to see what I can do.
