my first z28
sadly... her current resting place. I was visiting an old friend and saw the car for the 1st time in years. Loved this car from Y2K - 03. Sold it to my buddy so I could purchase a '00 Z. He ran the piss out of it all the time til he blew a head gasket. He never fixed it up. It ended up sitting at his old house which was vacant...someone ended up busting a window, stole the aftermarket stereo, subs+amp. The interior is still in great shape but as you can see the paint has weathered over the years. He ended up having the car towed to its current resting place.... pics below. I took such great care of this car when I owned it.
My best time: 13.7 1/4mi.. i was only 19. Never did any engine work. The SLP loudmouth exhaust tips were still shiny, but its hard to tell from the pics.Last edited by whoa guy; 02-27-2011 at 12:53 PM.

if i had the time and resources i would love to! I currently drive a '01 CNG Cavalier, and i have my blazer parked. Its 19yrs old and needs some minor work, but the things a gas hog! I dont quite make the money i used to. If i knew i could get the old Z up and running again quickly, i'd buy it back.

Phantom Black Metallic- 2004 GTO M6
That car does suck. Why don't you sell the Cavalier and put the money you get from the Cav into saving that Z?

Its been sitting awhile. It hasnt run in 6yrs Id say. If I had the extra cash I would tow it back today! Although I dont like the cavalier, it costs me less than $9 to fill up and its cheap to maintain. There was a time not too long ago when I took pride in owning a nice car... now as long as I have my harley... Its doesnt matter what I drive with 4 wheels
