Hey there NASCAR fans
Ready for the 2012 season? it's just around the corner.... and it's packing a BIG surprise.
Fuel Injection....
Yes NASCAR is ditching the carb next year. They say fuel economy and horsepower will both go up as a result of the switch.

Horsepower aint going to do shit. NASCAR will then limit the timing and fuel maps so that everyone makes the same amt of power. NASCAR is bullshit. Bring back the full bodied cars with the factory motors.

I think its E15..
I'm watching the 500 obviously but I'm cutting waaaaayy back on Nascar.. and its all because of Brian France.. Way too many stupid changes. New Points System, New Chase Format to include "wildcard" drivers (I hated the chase when it was first introduced) Fuel Injection next year, talks about an entirely new car again for 2013.
However, the new nose on the COT looks good, and I am looking forward to the Daytona 500 on the new track surface!

they're still turning left most of the year. I'll pass. E15 will more than balance out what the efi gives for mileage, has never been popular with rednecks, and has fallen out of favor with most hippies

Nascar has not been Nascar for years.. It started when they slowed down the winged superbirds that could do 200 +. Then Booby Allison blew a tire going into the tri-oval at 200 mph at Talladega in 1987 and the plates came back out.. That was the real start to the end of Nascar for me.. Late 80's early 90's Nascar wanted more people in the seats and they did not care how they got there. They forgot the long time fan.. I have been watching Nascar since 73.... And it is just not the same. I watch less and less each year..

I am just about to split with excitement. I cannot wait for another year of watching Tony Stewarts fat ass crying.....Kyle Bush bitching and whining like a 12 year old girl, Carl Edwards throwing a temper tantrum like a spolied child.....Jimmy Johnson "posing" for pictures and his hairdresser on the standby in case a hair gets out of place......yup another wonderful year of NASCAR. God I miss AJ Foyt, Cale Yarborough, Richard Petty and Buddy Baker.

Best rivalry in my opinion. Throw in DW, Harry Gant and ol Rusty and those races were awesome. I'm watching qualifying now. Looks pretty good so far. I like the deletion of the front splitter. Makes the cars look meaner. I just gotta get used to seeing sparks fly out from underneath the cars at Daytona. Was weird seeing that shit last night on the shootout.

Why always complain about NASCAR .. There is already series out there that do this .. Continental Tire and World GT , where the Cadillac CTSV will return this year .. Lots of series much better than NASCAR CUP...
