    $450 for a tune

"What we do is a full street tune, and then dyno time to fully utilize
WOT tuning. The cost for this will be $450, and will take about a day
    to complete.

    Thanks"
    Andy

seems inline with most places.....the fact you're getting a street tune and then they're putting it on the dyno is a good thing. They're doing it the right way.

That would be what I charge for a car with mild internal engine mods (cam 230-ish or smaller, heads/intake OK too) for the same type of tuning treatment. I don't know Redline in Missouri, but that certainly should not be seen as any bad thing. There are lots of guys tuning that I don't know.

No I'm not, there are many good tuners. Some just care more than others. That's the real difference. Your tuner could have very little platform experience but if he works slowly and methodically with attention to the smaller details and really cares about how well your car drives, it will show in his work.

    No one has asked...

I'm assuming you have modifications on your car that require a DYNO tune as opposed to a mail-order tune?

Bolt ons and 228R cam. I have a mail order tune from frost when I had just bolt ons. It was amazing don't worry about mail order tunes.
