Why are fbody parts so damn expensive? omg
This is my ra
nt and I'm pissed off. I need a new clutch for my car...bad. 500 and 600 hundred bucks is crazy!!!! My 97 stang had a $75 king cobra clutch that lasted me four years and countless track nights. My twin turbo 300 had a $250 ebay special and it came with an aluminum flywheel with countless track nights on it. I'm frustrated. I'm trying to put my65 back together and a Damn expense ass LS1 clutch is kicking my ass. And I bought headers already and a heater core and all kinds of various stupid shit. I wanna cry about it sometimes....I'm such a girl. Lol

I need a halfway decent one for the occasional track night. I'm now sooooooooo relieved to know that I'm not the only ebay fan and used speed part buyer. Thank you guys!!!!!!!

Custom Swirly Black- 2001 WS6 M6
I own a Jeep Grand Cherokee and replaced the PS pump with belt and pulley for $70. I even seen the set of 5.9 16' rims, set of 5 for $200 with tires.
All the parts for it are dirt cheap, that's why I bought it, like cammedgoat, I knew what I was getting into before I did.
LSX parts are moderately priced IMO, your getting what you pay for. You can get $200 eGay headers, or $1000 kooks. Could be worse, you could own a caddy, audi, or even a evo. I cringed when I heard how much it is just to change the brakes on some of these.

Popular platforms are expensive. Just how it is. If you look in the right places thought you can do pretty well, i got my heads together, did some of the porting myself and all my parts for the heads including the cam was 1k total.
