Just thought I would pass this along. Its getting spread to forums all over. Feel free to spread it to help keep others from getting scammed from this guy. Also since its starting to look like he is going to be getting whats coming to him for trying to rip people off. Just an FYI for those that make the read, the guy with the screen name "bigrpowr" is the owner of the site and one of the people scammed. The dude is being tracked down, possible adress is found, family members found and being contacted. Worst comes to worse some members/friends are talking of showing up at dudes door. Anyways, for those who dont read through it, beware of scammer named Tyler Meany, do not purchase from him. Now here is the thread/link.

But on some of these threads I can see where he is coming from....they just go on and on. So what I do is either move on...read them...or STFU.

Dude posts in the classifieds section saying he has some sets of very desirable mirrors for these trucks at a descent price. He then takes peoples money (one of the people is the forum owner) and disapears. Information about scam artist and his family is found through different members and different methods and then posted. Phone calls and possibly home visits are being talked about. That is the very short and vague version of what has happened so far. So to say the least, for those who arent reading it for the entertainment factor just watch out for the guy if he shows up selling parts. Tyler Meany is his name, im sure he will find a new user name and email account to use for paypal and scamming on forums so for those not interested in reading just look at this as a heads up. Everyone else following along, i cant wait to hear about whatever ends up happening to this guy... kinda pissed off the wrong group of "diesel enthusiasts" lol

Ive had good luck with this on ls1tech and a local forum. But for big items most of the time i use the local forums so if someone jips me its a short drive to go beat their ass. Honestly having dealt with both domestic and import owners ive noticed import people are much more likely to be scammers.

Do they even wear paper hats any more? All the big chains have nice baseball style caps now made of cloth. Sometimes I forget Sarge is from a different era....the Mesozoic.
