Ford has always had their truck program pretty well lined out, minus the 6.0 diesel hickup but even those with a few mods to fix the problems can be very good once problems are addressed

I would say Ford is hit or miss theres not much in between. The Tritons are a plague engine for multiple reasons. The 6.0's are a driving warranty claim. The 5.0's new and old are a huge success. The 6.4 diesel without the emissions BS is a powerhouse. See what I'm saying? They either hit it out of the park or they club the pitcher with the bat.

Agreed the 7.3 is a great workhorse its just to bad they take so much money to get any high hp/tq numbers

yea but the reliability of them is among the best ever

Oh yeah its definately one of the most reliable engines fords made. The 7.3 is like the 6.2and 6.5 gm made, not powerhouses but damn they're hard to kill.
