How many have you had?
Camaros I mean! List them up. I am just interested in seeing how may you guys have tinkered on. Please though, I am not counting the car that you bought with no front end that you only bought for parts.....lol
Since I was a little boy I have always been a GM fan. I like all car makes but GM has been my main interest. On top of my Camaros I have had two Corvettes and an LS1 GTO.
I have had one of each of the first four generations. Who knows, may have to get a 5th gen someday. A ZL 575 sure would look great in the garage.
1969:
V8, 255hp, automatic on the column, single traction, single leaf rear, delux interior, vinyl top, no power steering. 83k miles. Runs, shifts, stops (not well!), but needs redone. Has original rear and engine.
1981:
V6 car with a mild built 350, 2400 converter, stock rebuilt TH350 with shift kit, 3.90 Richmond gears in a stock 8.5 case.
1984 Z28:
305, 4-speed automatic, 107k miles. Bought as a project and had it a month before some kid "had to have it" so I sold it and made money on it. I bought it off a girl I knew who was hard up and needed cash. Planned on building a cheap hot rod but when you can double your money in a short time its a no brainer!
2000 Z28:
Red, 2.73 gears, A4 with very few modifications.
If this thread already exists please excuse my redundancy.

2002 Z28 A4 NBM- Sadly now demodded :(
Over the last 37 years I've had 6 67's (kept only the 1 in my sig), 2 68's, 2 69's (1 a SS 396 car), 89 RS (305/700R4), 96 Z28 vert (bought it new), 98 and 2002 Z28's (see sig).
5 of the 6 67's were RS cars, all with V8's and PG tranny's and all with deluxe interior. Various exterior and interior color combos with various options. The 1 I kept (see sig) had the least common exterior/interior (Emerald Turquoise with Parchment/Black deluxe - basically white) color combo and the most options. The 2 68's were base V8 with PG trannys - 1 red, 1 white and both with black standard interior. 1 69 was a base 307/2v with a 3 speed manual (white with red standard interior), the other was a 396/325 with a TH400 tranny (silver with black deluxe interior). The 89 was black with gray cloth interior and few options (no PW or locks, manual seats, etc). The 96 was a loaded boat. Power everything. I traded it in on the 02.67 Camaro: K-K + 797-z (look it up), 454/Th400/4.10 12-bolt = 6mpg, PS/PDB/PW tilt, tach, gauges...
2005 Corvette LS2/M6 Magnetic Red Metallic (What else would it be?) w/ Cashmere interior
2002 Z28: NBM/Tan, MTI smooth lid, smooth bellows, !AIR, !cats, 1-3/4" QTP SS LT's, 2-1/2" TD's with X-pipe, MagnaFlows dumped at axle, custom welded SFC's, MidWest Chassis body mount adjustable T/A, 3400 stall, 3.23 gears (was 2.73). Tuned: 343rwhp/357rwt (before TD's). Best: 12.559 @ 108+, 1.73 60' @ 3500' DA w/MT ET Street DR's.

yeah, that's what I'm talking about!!!
That brown Camaro that I had, has a similar story.
I was an apprentice toolmaker co-oping my senior year of high school.
I had to spend the money that I earned prior to that for gasoline and insurance to borrow my Dad's car.
wasn't until my senior yr of high school that I was able to purchase my own car.
I'm a career toolmaker, I've been employed continuously since that co-op job. 26yrs and still going.

My dad had collected them and me and blue02Z have tinkered on them, we have a 67, 327, a 68 with 32000 original miles not sure the engine, a 69 also 327, munsi 4 spd. 2 81's, one is a 350 with a lil bit of work and the other is a small block 400 and the 2 02's, both m6. The 67 used to be my dads drag racer and we know she has some power. Its already gutted and what not, power glide 2spd. we are about to go through it get a bigger stall and start takin her to the strip

1-I had a 78 LT rust bucket when I was 16. No pictures of that one. Drove for a few months before getting a more reliable car.
2-Then this 78 Z28 the next summer. A top end monster that I had for about 4 years. Just got too costly to keep both Z28s and my go to work car.
3-At 19 I bought the Z28 in my profile. Car insurance was more than the payment then.
