You may perhaps be right. Look at Dan Marino. He never won a ring. And I forget about him all the time. But he was an EXCELLENT quarterback that never gets talked about. Why? Because he could never get a ring around his finger. So you may or may not be right if he can't get atleast one more under his belt.

Aaron Rodgers may be on par with Peyton and Tommy

Marino and Favre are in the same boat. Favre at least got 1 ring, but that was all, in 20 years. Manning is on that same track right now. All excellent QBs, but bad post season legacy.

Aaron Rodgers, Brees and Rothlisberger(2 rings, possibly a 3rd coming) has to all be in that category of QBs that will be HOF material. If Rothlisberger and Pitt win it this year, you got to start talking about him in the same respect as Brady and Manning.

It's just the fans around my area... the FANS bring everything down. When they win it's black and yellow everywhere. When they lose, all they want to talk about is the what if's, injuries (if any), bad ref calls, etc.

Oh, and a public shoutout to Orion.

I won't be on here much longer, I've got to shut my eye lids to start my work week, so since the Pats lost, feel free to make another avatar change. Like I said, it's all good until it reaches 00:00 on the gameclock February 6th

Now that I've ran my mouth enough, hopefully you don't change it for the worse

I am the one that gave you Brady. Probably leave it up until the end of the post season. I couldn't stand to see anything Jets or Steelers related myself

Farve is one of the Greatest QB's to ever step on the field. All time best.....prolly not. Some aspects he is but rings equal a big fat NO. Montana is the best for rings wise but understand this:

Robert Horry has about as many rings as MJ if not more.....is he better? Nope

Rings only mean a little bit, not everything.

That's your opinion. Stats are stats. I don't see Mark Sanchez or any other current quarterback being compared to Manning or Brady. I like Tom Brady, him and Peyton are the only two quarterbacks in the league right now that WILL go into the hall of game, without a doubt. Colts just happen to be my team, but like Orion said, you have to be a realist. And the Patriots have had a team thats been extremely more healthy than Indy.

Doesn't matter now, both are out

But like I said before, ANYBODY BUT PITTSBURGH!

    he paid for her

I would have to disagree. Not In My Opinion, but because of how the football world turns. Rings show excellence, dominance, team chemistry. Any "GREAT" quarterback, "should be able to" develop chemistry with any one team, and acheive the all time GREATNESS of winning a few (not just one) superbowls. And in their minds, THAT is a GREAT quarterback.

    Just sayin'

    Wrong..

MORE likely, we understand that people fuck up.. It's called human nature..

I generally don't shit on the whole city and it's people for 2 peoples mistakes..

    Maybe you would..

Maybe you'd get it if your city had a team.. Any team..

True, but when you have none or one, people perceive it as a big negative if you are talking about all time greats. I would not put Favre as a top 5 QB of all time either.

    How is that wrong?

Players go out and get an assault charge, gun charge, etc. and they get penalized for it by not only the NFL, but the team as well. Why? Because they're representing their surroundings. Basketball, football, etc.

And I beleive his team is the cowboys if I'm not mistaken..

    We have plenty of teams.

You don't see any of us trying to shove our teams down someone else's throat, like you keep doing with the Steelers in here. They are not all high and mighty like you want everyone to think. They are a team, just like every other team in the NFL, no better, no worse.

Ya, Dallas sucks, and they have had more off field blunders/law breakings/black eyes than any other team probably. You just don't see me say much about them, well, because they suck and their season is over in December anyways

    Oklahomo has no teams..

He is wrong in that we don't give up on our team or shit on the entire community for every screw-up a player makes in their private lives..

So what you're saying is if you go out and deside to run over neighborhood mail boxes your whole community and city sucks?

The point is the post y2k made was mearly argumentitive nothing more..
