04 Cobra 'vert - M6 mysti- 02 WS6 coupe - A4 red
Goodbye 01, hello 04!
Holy crap! I never woulda thought the 04 Cobra was THAT much more fun to drive than the 01! Going in, I wasn't sure I was gonna pull the trigger, but as soon as I started the test drive, I knew it was over. I have never driven anything with such effortless power, in any gear. Now my Trans Am is my first love, but daaaaaaamn this car is something else!
And the mistichrome paint is sweet! I swear there are at least 6 distinct colors in there, with light and dark green, light and dark blue, purple, and black. I've never seen anything like it. I am gonna crash it just because I'm mesmerized watching the hood change colors while driving. Even the seats change colors!
So now I have a new car. I think I've got the perfect 1-2 punch now! (at least in cars I can afford)...
Here it looks green
And here you can see the transition to purple

Thanks bud. The ad just said 'teal' and I wasn't thinking 'mystic teal' or 'mistichrome' or whatever. The picture looked blue and I thought it was just blue. I was frickin excited when I realized what it was!
Well I probably won't be able to resist NOW... I hadn't thought about it yet but you've put it in my head now...

$25k from a dealer. NADA had it rated at about $24k for retail, so I mighta paid more than I coulda/shoulda.
And before anyone starts with 'you paid way too much' (and someone always does)... well I wasn't seeing these in my area with low miles for private sales... And I'm happy with my deal...

I can't remember the production numbers for the mystichrome Cobras. I haven't seen many on the road.

Yeah I looked it up, was curious. A little disappointed to see that mystichrome was actually the highest number produced in 04. But still of all new edge Cobras and Terminators in particular, counting 03s, it's a rare color. Only 495 mystichrome convertibles ever made! Woo hoo!
