Mysterious Missile Lights Up Sky

if it was a US missile, the US usually chalks it up as practice.

This could have been a north korean missile with piss poor GPS. something NK has been struggling with.

That is a missle, a plane does not leave a trail like that, its the governments way of pushing everything to the side and getting someone who says their a professional in that area to deny the fact that it was not a missle. When in fact it definately was a missle, possibly a show of force towards asia from what I read somewhere.

I'd like to quote the great Maddox here by saying this:

My personal favorite warblog was one that had a flash animation with people who were quoted as saying "it didn't sound like a plane to me... it sounded like a missile." Thank you Joe Nobody for giving me your expert opinion on what missile sounds like, because gas station superintendents are usually the best people to ask about the sonic signature of ballistic missile thrust.

LOL, never said I was an expert but I can say I have had one fly over my head while I was in iraq in the gunners turret of a caiman mrap, which landed inside of my fob just saying!!! And that looks quite like the trail the one that flew over my head left but bigger and straight up which would lead to the belief of a intercontinnetal missle, which is what the guy that used to work in the nuclear silos with the air force when he was in said it looked like!!! Thats where the professional opinion come from!!

Sorry, that wasn't directed at you, just the general theme of nobody knowing for sure in the thread. If anything you would know much better than the average starbucks-drinking commuter
