4.11s and run 28" Tall MTs or whatever you like to run in a drag radial. I'm hitting OD with 26" Tall Mts right before the 1/4 mile mark. So I'll be going to 28" tires my next go round. I believe the extras 2"s might make the 60ft times better, but I'll just have to wait and see.

Try a 27x11.5 QTP maybe?
I have the M6 and have been thinking about going 4.56 with a 28" Hoosier

I would go 3.73, maybe 4.10 on an auto...that is with a new rear end, but most definately upgrade that intake. I used to have PRC LS6 stage 2.5s with MS3 on stock LS6 intake and it made a noticeable difference installing a FAST 90/90 ported/port matched to the heads. I picked up about .2 in the 1/8, never got to compare to a 1/4 since the closest 1/4 track is about an hour away. Of course I did everything but the rearend, and after picking up that .2 in the 1/8 well after a strange clicking sound arose during turns, I had to install that brand new Moser 9" that was sitting in my living room for a couple months...lol. You should have it easier on your rearend though, you being an auto. M6s are ruthless on rearends

Gonna go with Mr. Luos's advice and run the 4.10....Ms4 needs high rpm's.

Not sure which converter you have now, but changing the gear at this point to something numerically higher will also tend to lower the flash point of the converter.

to me driveability = torque low mid range power and something that doesnt shake the poor motor to pieces. because a 224-228R cams will NOT be anywhere close to being as harmful to your DD as a MS4 i do agree the MS4 sounds sa-weet. but sometimes you cant have your cake and eat it to.
my dads GTO has the 224R cam and we both LOVE it. it makes plenty o power more than he will ever use lol. big cams are fun and boner-ific but not practical for the DD cam'd LSX IMHO

I understand the shorter gear necessary for that cam, I was just pointing out that it will tighten up your converter to some degree.
Since you are running a 3.23 gear now, it tends to drive into the converter more, flash point is also higher because the engine works harder to get the car moving.
Going to a 4.10 gear, torque is multiplied and the car gets moving easier, so the converter will drive around town a bit tighter, feel tighter, and generally won't flash as high on the starting line.
I don't think it will be that big of a deal, the car will like the 4.10 gear anyway.

well, as stated before, to each his own when it comes to driveability...
I love driving mine around town with a much larger than MS4 cam.... 25X/25X .63X/.63X on a 112 LSA....

Just put the 4.10 gear in today.Going to get the PCM reflashed and run it again within the next couple weeks. Would like to see at least mid 11's.

Ran it today with the 4.10. 11.85 at 115mph.
Still needs fine tuning, was bouncing off the rev limiter at 6700rpm. Maybe the trans is slipping?
