Luckily when I get around to getting the TBSS...it won't be faster. Just enough to tear away from ricers.

    Worst investment ever.

Every single part was so expensive, it pushed me over the edge and I ditched it. Spent 2x as much as I paid for it for to keep it running during the winter.

Hope you had better luck that I did.

Either one of these bad boys:

All though it's not like what we get here has the right to be called "Winter".

Nor is it as though I drive the thirdgen during the summer.

The Pontiac is faster than the thirdgen was when it ran. The van probably is too, but I drive it all chill so I wouldn't know.

1997 GMC Jimmy... bought it two years ago for $300 with a spun rod bearing. Rebuilding the engine and getting everything else squared away has kept me from modding the SS its a love hate relationship...

has 91k on it and it's still going strong. only issues we've had were some electrical, but other than that we haven't put money into it and had it for 8 years.

haha, iroc, i've got a '08 g6 gt. in dark metallic red.

Ours is an '06. How do you feel about the visibility? Going to the G6 from the thirdgen makes me wonder why Pontiac even bothered with the rear window. I could see everything in the Camaro.

it sucks! i hate it! lol... i sometimes feel like i'm in a death trap.

the rear is way too high for it, and i feel like the car is a lot larger than it looks.

i'll throw in a pic just for the hell of it since i drive it all year round:

With a good battery that car starts right up and sounds pretty nice. I took some video of me driving it but you really can't get a sense for it from just seeing the hood from the windshield mount.

much nicer pics exist... just not on my photobucket lol

I do want a faster car, but I need 4 seats so my choices are 911 Turbo or GTR.
Then once again my sports car will be faster than my DD.

With the Jeep 0-60 mph in 4.4 seconds stock not much can touch it.

out of curiosity, were leaking intake gaskets likely the cause?
