Imports
I love reading the stories in here. These imports just crack me up, it's never worth the ticket is it? My question is why do they do it? They know they're not going to win why do they go through the trouble, opinions?

There will always be those kids in Civics that think for some peculiar reason or another, their car is on the same level as yours (the faster car). Now whether its pure lack of knowledge or just over-confidence, we'll never know. Personally (besides that I am an import), I like to mess with anything, of course my car doesnt run 15s either

You know not all imports are slow... I kept up with a Camaro SS the other day and I highly doubt you think the SS is slow.

White- 01
I post on one of the local import sites here in Houston. One night I had a guy in a Honda want to play. I spanked him real bad. He had this web sites sticker on his window. So,..Being the nice guy I am, I went home and got on the comp. I had full intentions of getting on there and raising holy hell about this turd. He picked on my 8000lb Diesel just because he saw I had gauges on my A pillar. Well, needless to say, he got his ass handed to him and did the fly by. No wave or anything.
Well, I got over there and made a post about it. I was shocked when almost every person on there was not taking up for this bag. They knew who he was and told me not to judge all of them by his actions. Yes some import drivers are tools, but after posting on this site for a while, I know not all of them are.
That don't mean I don't pick on them when I get a chance. And yes I do get it handed to me every now and then.

most of the time the "slow" ones just want to hear your exhaust or just watch you get on it...

I mostly mean the guys that drive completely reckless with just the loud exhaust going. I know there are some faster than I.

When you say imports, does that mean anything not made in U.S.A?? Because if you say yes then mabye you should check to see where your car was made. I will give you a hint Canada.

To most of us Import=Ricer. 99% of imports are pieces of shit with weed-wacker exhaust, a 6 foot high wing, and a 5 inch tach mounted on the dash. Yes some are fast but VERY FEW! And if you think about, every car could be considered an import in your eyes cause every car has some parts that are designed or manufactured in foreign countries!
As far as why they do it...most of them are immature teenagers who have watched Fast & Furious too many times. I've found that they actually think they have a chance, but then when you hand them their ass they wine and say "Oh but you have a V8, and I almost had you."
