These come with new bulbs as well. Also, you would now have an HID option if you want.
Love mine, had them a few months now. If these aren't good enough for you a vendor on tech is selling fbody hid projector kits around $5-800 if memory serves, looks real good.

Fits right in, to add hid remove the bulb and harness it came with from LMC and add your hid parts, simple...many on tech have done this.

Easy fix just use HID kit instead of those useless autozone bulbs. Housing are fine just need some real bulbs.

This would be one way, but eurolights has a kit that is made for our cars..like 70 bucks for both. ever check them out?

I don't have any experience with eurolights. I have heard that some folks have had bad experiences with them....eventually. I think it's due to something of the effect of them having plastic lens' and hazing, or something like that...I dunno.

The lmc housings are glass and metal, and I believe come with an adapter harness. Ask Cajun...he has them installed. I'll probably be ordering them soon enough myself.

That is probably what i'm going to go with, I think they're a little cheaper too compared to the truck headlight assemblies. But from what I get from their website, they come with bulbs. I might be wrong. If I do buy those I am going to add the HID immediately, so I wouldn't want the bulbs that came with them. We'll see.

Hey, since you have had them, what is your opinion with the light output and glare with those headlights? Basically, HID's of course are supposed to be used with projectors and when you put them in an open housing like that eurolights or even a stock assembly, i've heard the light is not as defined and causes glare? Do you have much problem with that?

You can be guaranteed to get quite a bit of glare. Even decent halogen reflector housings with HIDs have a good amount of glare. Projectors are the only way to go in order to control the light in a safe, effective manner. Sure the kit is cheap but you get what you pay for.

I have hid's 6k color in my eurolamps and stock fogs on my TA , stock lenses on my trailblazer and 93 5.0 and the only glare issue I have is the stock 5.0 lenses. The TA is fine and if adjusted properly you get good light output without and having anyone flashing their lights at you. My trailblazer's crystal style factory lens is much brighter with better light diffusion that my ex's Mazda 3 with factory hid's or her tiburon with 6k hid's and both were projector lights it does cut the top of the beam but were also alot less bright than my trailblazer. The eurolamps use a factory style frosted lens with creates a little glare but not enough to matter and are plenty bright especially if you do the fogs at the same time. While projectors are good the crystal lenses are still better in my opinion from a pure l light output standpoint. I have seen the projector setup the guy sell on tech and they are nicer and brighter that the eurolamps but also almost 10x as much. For me the eurolamps are bright pass state inspection and with the money I saved I bought my catback and had some money left over. I go out cruising and to local meets and fun runs my car is not a dd but does go out at night on weekends so my setup works for me. If I dd my car and spent a lot of time driving at night I may have looked into the more expensive projectors but there are a lot of street lamps in Houston and even on dark backroads my setup with the low beam and fog hid kits let's me see every turn, pot hole and bump I need to.

The eurolamps come with bulbs and while brighter than stock are no where near as good as hids.

agreed, but there is no way I can make sense of spending 500 dollars on the bls kit even though it would be money well spent. Maybe in the future but this upcoming spring I'm planning on doing a twin turbo set up on my car. I guess I'm one of those "go before show" people.

And since we're at it Ryan, you said you had 6k's.. Im assuming you have the 35w. I've read that the 55w are up to 40% brighter though. Would you recommend 55w or wuold just just be plain overkill? Just trying to get as many opinions as possible.

I have all 35watt kits since I have had most of my sets for years. Never seen the higher cottage setups but I know the 35's are more than bright enough for me. Long as you stay around 6k you will get a nice color.and light output. I have heard with the 55's you have to use a 8k to get the same color because it's brighter you lose some of the color, can't say since I have never seen.
