41 Willys pickup
Hello everyone,
Have been on this site several times so I decided to join. I have a 1941 Willys pickup with LS1 and small cam sitting on a S10 frame. The truck has a 1955 chevy dash, 4L60E trans, 2500 stall and 342 gears.

Similar Willys projet
Hi there! Sweet machine....
I am just starting a similar project - just bought a '41 Willys Coupe from a guy in Alabama. It's a glass body, sitting on an S10 frame with a 4-link Ford 9" rear end. I have never done anything automotive before, so should be an interesting 'forced retirement' project. He is putting in a Chev 5.3L motor and tranny for me before I pick it up. Did you have any problem setting up the steering - what did you install?
Thx Mike

Streeing
What I did was put a nostalgia column First picture (chrome) and cut it down after I had it set to the right length in the cab. Column was for a 57 corvette from ididit. Then I took the stainless steel double D shaft from Speedway #910-32377-36 and three stainless steel 3/4" DD x 3/4" DD steering u-joints #910-300 with one steering shaft heim #175-0759 fitting it to the steering box which was the stock s-10 power steering. Hope this helps.
