Interesting Motorcycle at the Show Today
Went to a local car show this morning and spotted a very interesting motorcycle. You really need to look at the details on this bike to appreciate it. Things like the door knob shifter, the Ball jar site glass in the tank, the old gas lamps (or oil lamps, not sure) and a myriad of other details really caught my attention. I believe the engine is out of a Triumph, maybe?

i think its fascinating to see people make old bikes like these..they are definatly thinking out side of the box. i see he went nuts with the copper piping for the intake too

If not Triumph Trident then it may be a BSA Rocket 3. Both makes used the same engine in the late 60's early 70's. The rocker covers and exhaust setup (center split into both sides) looks very similar to the engine in your pic. Even the outer spark plugs are in the same location (angled out).
