Stock WS.6 wheels
How does everybody feel about keeping the wheels stock on the WS.6. My 5 spoke stock wheels look great on my T/A. They are high polished aluminum. I had to replace one when I got my car. 3 were polished and 1 had been chromed. I got a reconditioned aluminum wheel and it looks beautiful. Plus keeping them stock is nice. I can't find alot of wheel options for a 17x9.

in my opinion stock 17s look right at place on TAs, there are some good aftermarket ones, but not much of a selection.

All depends on what you like. I left the 16x8" chrome wheels that came on my TA from the dealer showroom on almost 8 yrs before the chrome peeled and they started looking rough. Now I have 18x8.5 and 18x10's. I would have kept the 16's on longer if they looked ok. Tires were have a alot cheaper. I love the my new wheels better since I like the staggered look and it sets the car apart since I have only seen one other TA with mt wheels in BLK. Wheels are one of those things that depend on taste. I know alot of people who like the stock wheels and alot who run TT2's and TTM's. Even a couple who had stock hawk and blue ws6 wheels widened to 11" in the rear to keep the stock look but run bigger tires. All a matter of personal taste.

I really like the stock wheels on our WS.6. I even bought a spare set from another member that were in a little better shape than ours. I may strip the clear and polish them at some point, still undecided.

Yeah, I like that the stock wheels have a smooth curve on the spokes that match the curves in our car. They compliment each other well, I think. My brother in law is a diehard for chrome. I was thinking of maybe having them stripped and chromed. I know they can be dipped, but someone was telling me of another process. They are electrified and sprayed. Anybody know which is better? I think dipping is 3/4 the price. Then again I the high polished stock wheels do look good.

The stock WS6 wheels are my favorite. The 98-2000 ones that is.
