Something just doesnt look right about that car. I definatly wouldnt trade an 02 truck for it. Unless he's done a motor swap its an lT1. I wouldnt offer over 2500 bucks but Im cheap like that.

Dude you can find LS1's for the price he asking. There was a really nice LS1 TA on LS1Tech for $3750 a few weeks ago. It was clean as hell and had like 100K on it. It also came with Pacesetter headers and ORY that were never put on. You just have to look around. I am looking for a pewter or Silver Z-28 M6 (99-02) for around 5K to buy for a project car with my Dad but I am being patient and waiting for the right deal.

When I said "work truck", I meant that it's a plain Jane white 3/4 ton chevy. Doesn't even have power windows. I can drive a bicycle to my job if I wanted. Regardless, I'm not trading.

that is an oddball car.. i am quite sure that interior was ONLY in the 25th anniversary edition. but the hood and wheels just don't go... i would not go anywhere near that car.

if that car is a butchered 25th i'd be REAL sad.

im afraid that you may be accurate on this case...thats one of the things that scared me is that it may have been wrecked and they swapped the incorrect hood, and painted the wheels, which looks like shit...

Which is why you buy a battery with top posts. Pretty simple. Not that I'm out jumping tons of people, or that I ever have done that. But, it's easy to hook up my charger when it's sitting during the winter.
