I did huge Rib Eyes Thursday night. (well, one huge one and one smaller trimmed of fat for me
) Hubby's birthday and that's what he wanted.
Although, I have no pics. Totally slipped my mind. So... You'll just have to believe me because it did happen
Enjoy your steaks

aah, the stress, always have to take pictures!

so here's the raw truth:

the salmon has a dill-lemon-garlic mix on top. now if you'll excuse me, i have to attend to la cuisine.

Sounds good. I'm on my own tonight. I'll probably just have a Healthy Choice frozen meal. I don't know. Maybe I'll take out and marinade a boneless chicken breast and cube up a small red potato with some chopped green onion and garlic etc...
I know... that sounds boring and flavorless to you guys, but, eating like that helps keep me fit in my old age

No thread bans in here......at least not to the regulars.

I think I'm going to do my world famous chicken and dumplin's tonight. Went out for steaks last night with the family. Doing a couple of pork loin meals this week and of course I'll be grilling a couple of times.

i'm just adding to the diversity of this thread. trying to be an inspiration here!

btw, it turned out pretty sensational!

the spices for the salmon worked very well, but the real surprise were the noodles (not on the picture). i used ramen noodles, roasted ginger and garlic, soy sauce, coconut milk, tabasco, cilantro. yum.
tonight: burgers and chicken. see, i can also do regular food!

Ahh... I'm not ribbing ya! I wish I liked fish more than I do. There are only a few that I like. You know, the least 'fishy' tasting ones
Fish is good for you. I make up for it by taking fish oil every day though
There was a time when I could have lived on shrimp and lobster. But, for some reason, I just don't like it as much as I used to
But your dinner looks great. If I was there, I'd probably even try a bite of that salmon
Corned beef and veggies tonight. I'll throw the corned beef in the crock in a few hours. Then strain the broth when it's done and cook the veggies on the stove in the broth while keeping the corned beef warm in the crock pot. Just thinking about it makes me thirsty

spoon but just a regular spoon. I like my dumplins in the golf ball or smaller range. I do 2 kinds in the same pot. I make drop dumplins and then I also cut up a can of canned biscuits and use those 2. The thing about dumplins is they'll be a lot better today than they were yesterday.
