Im glad you guys are an expert on web surfing and what im allowed to do at my job.
Tell me about my job. The one that you do. The one that I go to every day. Please.

There are a lot of jobs that do allow web surfing but im not going to get in to a petty debate. I wasnt even at work, I was at home.

In my last thred I asked you guys to chill. One person disagrees and everyone attacks like flies on poo without actually knowing what I do or how I am just attempting to say something.
It turns in to but-hurtness like, well your avatar isnt work safe just because. Agree to disagree and yes anything about queers is obscene its in the dictionary. However, im not here to get in to a silly debate. Again agree to disagree and call it a day but dont attack someone without even having the slightest idea about what a person does for a living.
Im not going to get in to the "well what do you do for a living" debate either, I consider it dropped. I guess I should keep my mouth shut here and not have an opinoin. But, I will always have an opinion. I just hope the same people making blind judgements arent the same people giving me instructions or advice about my car.

It wasnt out of spite or pissed offness to any of you and I explained that in the next thread. Im not here to be an enemy so dont jump me without knowledge or provocation. Thanks....damn

Well, personally I am not an expert on YOUR job. However, expecting "work safe" pics that are offensive to nobody (which is basically what you were indicating you wanted in your original complaint post) is not the easiest thing to get, especially here.

Yes, a lot of jobs do allow surfing. Personally, I am at one now. But I also have sense enough to know that "work safe" is a vague term at best. What's safe to view at my work may not be at yours. So I am sure not about to bitch if I click a "work safe" thread & see something in it that could be taken as offensive at my workplace. If I am too concerned that something like this may be there (and it just may), I don't go in the thread. Pretty simple, really.

I don't know about the other thread. I didn't see it. But I am not butt-hurt in the least. I have simply been pointing out a few things and expressing my opinion.

Sorry if you took my post as an attack. It wasn't meant to be.

As far as what you do for a living, not only do I not know, I don't really care. It's not exactly relevant. You said:

Mine (and a few other peoples) replies were simply what most HR people would do if seeing an employee surfing the net on the clock. The "beaver shaving" pic is so unbelievable tame, if your HR dept ill get pissed over that one, you don't need to be clicking on anything in the AAG section of this board. That was the only point I was trying to make.
