In the original thread we identified it as a "house centipede".

It looks different in the drawing because it was hard to recreate as half was flat on the wall and the other half was flat on my shoe.

My uncle putting me on, told me they could sting you, when I was like 6. So I used to freak out over them too. Now they don't bother me.
