ls1 383 whats the best head
building a ls1 383 right now. eagle crank and rods diamond racing pistons. been looking at heads for over the last month and still cant deside on what to get. and gona have a ms3 cam and edelbrock intake with holley carb. what heads have been doing well on the track and making the most power

If money is not too big of a problem. Get the best... AFR, ETP, or Trickflow... not in that order, but those 3 are the best on the market... I love my Trickflows ;-).
Not really sure, but you might be able to go a little bigger than the MS3. Personally, since you're going with a whole new setup you should have a cam spec'd out for your setup, I wouldn't bother with an off the shelf cam. That is if you want to maximize your potential.

whats your budget?you can TFS 220cc heads for $1680 from most sponsors.They mite be a little small for a 383.

Trickflow 215's ported have been out flowing the afr 205's, and are just big enough to maintain air velocity for our smaller cubes. Not saying the ms3 is not a good track cam but 500rwhp has been reached with with a stock stroke and smaller cam.
What kind of intake you going for?

Save ur $$ and ditch the edelbrock. Go with a ported FAST 90/90 and a Nick Williams throttle body.

iv bn thinking efi then think carb and i dont even think fast makes the 90 mm intake any more i might be wrong.

well they make a 102 mm and u can put the 90 mm tb on it blv you can even put stock on it if you wanted. evertone on here talks about trick or afr y not RHS, TFE, texas speeds heads?

TF and AFR are the most expensive, texas speed is great they just take 5.3's or 243's and port/mill them. Trickflow is a different cast.
A vortech would be great if they can prove if and when it was rebuilt.
