What is a good hood for my WS6?
So i need a hood. I am leaning towards the WS9 outlaw hood with the heat extractors. I want an aggressive look and good quality products...but i dont want people to think im an obnoxious teenager. Price is not a concern. Whats your opinion and thoughts and pics?

I've seen several hood fit like crap
I know trufiber is a pretty good fitting company
I'd check them out.

I'm still waiting for someone to be nice enoght to wreck the rear of a TA Hawk so I can get a hood and bumper. I'd buy a raptor hood but I have seen some fit great and some that have gap issues so I'm not sure if they have gotten more consistent.

I was highly considering the WS9 outlaw hood...but my parents talked me out of it.
They look more aggressive IMO. I must say that i am disappointed for three reasons.
1. Didnt come with any hardware (not that big of a deal) all i did was switch the parts over from my othe hood.
2. The grilles look like chicken wire. Yes its better air flow but i would still prefer the plastic stock grilles. I will most likely modify the grilles by cutting most of the "chicken wire" out and using an over sized nut and bolt on the coners to stick it in. Then ill glue it in place with Proxy (an extremely durable beastly super glue)
3. The indentions around the grilles are not as deep...yes i kno its nothing to complain over...but anyone with a little knowledge of 98-02 f-bodies will know that thia hood is aftermarket and IMO...and 98% of people will agree...this aftermarket hood is not as sharp as the OEM Ram Air.
its a good enough fit for me i guess. But i might upgrade to a WS9 hood later on.
Over all on a 1-10 10 being stocker look
i would give it a 7.5
good hood but is obvious that its not a OEM.
Plus it states that hood pins are required...well im going to drive it without them.
If i have to get hood pins...i will be VERY upset.

Well my ws9 hood came today; looks pretty good the cowl isn't as tall as I hoped but I'll see how it looks once I get it on the car it's raining like crazy here right now. The grills do looks cheesy probably gonna paint them black or buy some of those aftermarket overlays and hope they fit. I'll post pics once its on.

They did. Their insurance gave me a $3600 check...that of which $2150 went to actually replacing it (the price was based off a true OEM hood but we couldnt get one so we bought the Trufiber which was cheaper). I mean i dont want it to sound like i took advantage of them. We seriously tried for 2 months but we could find one. But i guess that makes up for my trouble.

Black- 2000 WS6 6spd Hooker LT
OIC now. That'd be frustrating to look that long. I thought they were still available new? I know the upper radiator support/airbox isn't anymore, it's just the low opening style new anymore. I need to fix or replace mine....
