I'm painting both. The car is going to remain red. The paint job is mostly because the clear is peeling in a few places. The color has faded in those places or just looks like crap so I'm going to lightly re-spray it in red and re-clear the entire car. I'm going to paint the new grill also but I'm going black with it.

I agree that red Camaros are amazing looking. I wish mine didn't have peeling clear coat and swirl marks. But...take 20 steps back and it looks pretty good to me.

Yeah I had a red 95 V6 and the clear coat peeled behind the t-tops mainly, wanted to get it redone but ended up getting a 2000 SS. The black grill will look good with the red, a nice contrast between the two colors. Good luck with it

beautiful car, Red was my second choice but I fell for the pearl metallic. There is something about a red muscle car that gets the blood going though

Red is a great color. My favorite of my other LS powered camamro's was also red. That's probably the reason I like this one so much. My original first choice was SOM and a WS6. When I walked into the dealer and told him I wanted the one in the showroom but I wanted to test drive it first, he asked me how old I was. I said 19 and he laughed at me and then told me he was busy. I walked out after I tolf him I had 36 grand in cash in my back pocket, I would have bought the car but just wanted to run it through the gears first. Oh well, so the next dealer I stopped at had a red SS and I sat in it. It might has well been my first hit of crack!

STUPID...? You must not have caught the part where I said I was 19. I don't dispute that its dangerous but I had it on me for about 4 hours. I had an idea about how much I was going to spend and only had it out for that purpose. I'd do it again now if I was doing it for a short period of time for a specific purpose but then again, I own and carry more guns than I had back then.

Yes I caught the part where you were 19. That doesn't change the fact that carrying around a shit ton of money on you at any given point is a stupid idea.

I own guns too. Carrying one doesn't make you invincible.

So how exactly does carrying a shit ton of cash on you increase your odds of something happening? It has zero change in the likelihood of something happening to yo unless you advertise it or make it obvious. Saying out loud that I had it was certainly stupid, but if you have a reason to be carrying it, then it's a matter of weighing the risk versus the benefit. I do that everyday at either of my jobs, both of which I've had training in self defense and defensive tactics, with and without weapons. I've got a little training in carrying and escorting large amounts of money. If I feel the need to carry that much money, I have weighed the risks and I must be comfortable enough with what I know and I'm doing to chance it. I never said weapons make you invincible, but they even the odds if you need them.

All I'm saying is walking across the road can be dangerous. If you feel the need to do it at a given time, it's your choice and responsibility to do it safely. I guess an onlooker might think you are stupid for doing it though because they think its a bad idea how you did it.

Anyway, enough debate about that. I made a video of video clips from inside my car for listening to my exhaust setup. Not much but I like it.

Never said it increases your odds...It makes it stupid b/c at any given point anyone can be robbed. You don't have to advertise you have a lot of coin to be robbed. Thousands of people get robbed daily. If I do get held up, I rather lose $100 than $36K....it's that simple. If I'm going to go buy a car and pay cash, I'm writing a check. There is ZERO risk in losing money with a checkbook. That's all I'm saying.

    PS - That sounds nice!

You have a good point, I'm just saying basically for the sake of argument that I agree, you could be robbed at anytime. If you are know how to be defensive you can lessen your odds my simple looking like a challenge. Knowing how to be a challenge helps too if you are engaging in acts like carrying lots of cash and having and knowing how to use a defensive weapon is your friend if you need it. I agree with you and with my training and experience I would tell people not to carry that much money if they aren't 100% comfortable with it. Knowing where I was going and having a plan to not stay static and watching my surroundings as to always have an escape route kept me comfortable with what I was doing.

I'll end by saying you are right. It's a bad idea but I like to argue...it's another hobby of mine.

Thanks for the compliment on the video!

Another video for sound purposes from outside the car. I took a few more but none of them turned out worth a damn. I left the part of me backing up in it because there's a short section where it sounds good IMO. The rest of it was a short WOT just going by the camera.

I understand where IH8EVRY1 is coming from by carrying that amount of money for a specific purchase. Cash in hand is a lot more "Pleasing to the Eye" for bargaining. If you say you have X amount of dollars CASH, your able to haggle more in your favor.

Another thumbs up for the clip Although I tend to love Magnaflow better, just my opinion.

I finally got to put the car on a track. I wish it had run a little faster but I'll take it. I've got numbers as a reference now so I can start my build up.

I'm working on a video that I'll add when I'm done with it.
