2001 3.8 Black - sold- 2000 SS Black M6
Thiking about buying this car
He took down the CL ad, so I cant show any pics, but heres the info i can recall
99 Trans am, 128k
Red
Black Z06 rims, offset 17X9 and 18X11
LS6 intake
Stock motor
Coated pacesetter LTs
deleted cats
Full 3 in Magnaflow exhaust
BMR lowering kit
BMR weld in SFC's
Koni adjustable shocks
Recently rebuilt trans
Vigilante 3400 stall
3.42 with posi, new gears
5% tint all the way around
Dyno tuned at 351 rwhp
Thats all I can think of off the top of my head, all the work was done by RPM in Lewisville, receipts included.
He originally bought the car just to use the motor and trans in something else, but fell in love with it. Only owned the car for 30k miles, got the LS6 intake, trans, and rear end so that hed be ready when the LS1 gave out, so he could rebuilt it with the Texas speed heads and cam. Motor never blew, and now he wants a new toy. He said he never ragged on the motor, to make it blow, he was just waiting on it to start burning oil or something, but it never did.
It also has new head light motors, with brass gears, and new window motors...he spent the time and energy as to not crack the panels....and they still haven't cracked.
Guys asking $8500
All these mods are exactly what I would plan to do with an LS1, I guess this just leaves me with heads and cam.
I know the mileage is a little high...but this isnt a car I plan to build into a monster, nor take to the track, its just a fun little toy to cruise on the weekends....if something does blow...I'll just pick up where he left off.

Black- 2001 Trans Am WS6 M6
Price is in the ball park of what I'd pay for a car of that year. You already mentioned the miles are a little high but guys on the mile high threads on here have went 200,000 with minimal problems. The real benefit is it has all of the upgrades you would do which saves you an easy 2,000. If you think of it that way then it's a great deal. I'd say go for it. Especially if you're using it as just a fun driving, cat around car.

I didn't know you were looking for another new car. You just got one. Are you starting a collection?
