In today's economy you should finance a car, hands down, it's much more beneficial to have cash in the bank than a paid off car, several financial advisers have told me that now. My latest car purchase I was going to do cash, after doing the math and low interest rates I would have saved 180 bucks at the end of three years, not even worth it. I'd much rather have money in the bank.

Got a personal loan once to buy a wrecked 98 z28 back in 2000... paid it off in 6 months. I absolutely hate payments and I'll never do that again.

Yah. I opted for 72 because it's cheaper. If I wanted, like, 5 years, the payments would have been $500/mo IIRC.

Not unless you can keep from spending it.

Well, at least you'll only be upside down for 5 1/2 years that way.

I'm not worried. Once I start making more money, I can pay more.
