2002 911 carrera?

So I have this neighbor, and his son in law has a 2001 porsche 911 carrera, auto. For months all ive heard is how this supposed $90,000 can whoop my car's ass. My neighbor believes in it like its the Word. So I'm looking it up online, it doesnt have a turdo, it's rwd, and is an automatic. Its got 300hp and it's like 3,000lbs. Here are my mods- lt's, no cats, exhaust, phb, lca's, relocation brackets, lid, pnp throttle body, filter, free ram air mods, my own ssra. How much of a chance do I have against this guy? I want to see the look on his face when I beat him. They've got 300hp @ 3,000lbs weight. will my extra hp pick up for my extra few hundred pounds?

Funny thing is we had a 02 911 Auto at our dealer that i got a chance to drive several times. Top end it pulls nice but definitly not as fast as a modded LS1, i like the way how the engine or exhaust sounds once you hit about 6k on a 911. You should have no issues pulling on it.

I agree I have seen manaul 911's run 13.6/13.2 at the local track here (no clue on the auto's)...

If I had a dollar for every time I heard so & so's car or my car could whoop your car's ass,I'd be a rich man...and yet when I call them out on it they always puss out.

Tell your neighbor you'll run his son-in-law's porsche anytime he's ready. I'm sure the porsche owner will come up with some type of B.S. excuse not to.

Its a low to mid 13 second car that traps 105ishmph. Simular race happened this weekend. At the car show which was all muscle cars minus 4- a pink yes pink wrx driven by a guy, a brand new GTR with full exhaust, i wanna say 2006 911 S-355hp, and a miata. The guy in the porsche was laughing at my friends turbo 5.0 and said he would smoke it, so they did a 2nd gear roll when we left, i followed on my bike. The turbo stang pulled about 15 cars by 90mph and i had passed the porsche on my bike following the stang. GTR wouldn't race anyone just kept reving his car which sounded nice with the titanium exhaust but nothing compared to the 8 second small block turbo cars and big block cars.

Yes i got to see the look as i pulled past the porsche a good 8 lengths between me and the stang to keep some distance incase he lets off. It doesnt hurt that the stang makes just under 500whp now and traps just under 130mph.
