Lucas Trans' fix
Tried the stuff today, really can't feel/tell a difference but after I added the bottle I noticed tranny fluid starting to leak on my driveway. Is that expected after adding this stuff?

That stuff is junk!! If your a A4, you could have overfilled causing too much pressure and blew a seal out. You should never expect a leak after adding fluids unless they are too full. Don't use stuff like that, keep your fluids topped off, and use good quality fluids and you should be right as rain.

I heard mixed reviews about it so i figured i'd try it. If I blew a seal well then it's the last time I buy a mechanic in a bottle.

Nope, had no leaks beforehand. It's not a constant seaping leak, it's like a drip every hour or so.

A4...was just under taking another look. Pan itself looks dry but around the seal and edge of the trans is wet. I'll look again in a few hours. I'm just concerned because I'm going to Wi Dells tomorrow for car show and don't need any problems lol.

Where you from in WI, WI Dells is about 1 1/2 away from me if that. What mods you got done? As long as you keep the tranny full, you shouldn't wreck anything. Remember to check it while its running and warm for an accurate reading. I'd fix it asap after that so your not wasting money in fluid.

From Waterford area. All I got done is SLP LM1 exhaust and SLP lid. Added wheels and tires about a month ago and hope to do headers and rear-end with 3.73 gears soon. I drive it a lot so I don't wanna do anything too crazy with it. But if my tranny goes to hell then I might as well add a nice stall with shift kit.

There is only the front seal, pan and rear seal so not alot of places to leak from. Just keep an eye on it til you can determine where exactly its coming from. No problem, us WI boys need to take care of each other
